Applying false eyelashes should have the special trick to make it fit in your eyelid. Sadly, not all strip lashes will fit to your eyelid. To avoid the common mistake by buying the wrong eyelashes. Let’s check some tricks as below:
‘Almond eyes’ are considered the eye shape that will fit for all strip lash type. Be lucky for you girls who ave’Almond eyes’. Almond eyes is when your irises covered by your upper and lower eyelids. Check this out the other variations of the eyes.
Deep-set eyes; With this type of eyes, your eyes are set farther into the skull. The proper lashes for this eye are longer in length at the centre of the lashes.
Downturned eyes; Pleople who has downturned eyes, the eyes has a slight drop at the outer corners. Try a shorter eyelash that has longer in the outer corners.
Hooded eyes; with this type of eye, the lid appears smaller. This is because there is an extra layer of skin that is over the crease, which droops down. A thin strip lash in a shorter length is the best one for this eye shape.
Prominent eyes; With this type of eye, the eyelids are more on the outside of the eye socket area. By balancing the top lashes and the bottom lash will give the illusion of pushing back your eyes.
Determine your eyes are close or wide set is a must. The simple tools in your home can be used to measure your eyes. For doing this, you can place a pencil, pen or makeup brush from the inner corner of the eye to the outside edge. When the eyes are close set, the space between is less than one to another. However, If the shape is longer
than one eyeball width, you have wide-set eyes.
To keep the lashes are good, It should be tricky to remove the lashes from the box. Put the lashes on tray under your nose it can help you to identify the left and right lashes. To take the lashes always peel from the outer edge, never from the inner corner. If you bend the outer side, it doesn’t matter since it may trimming them to fir your eyes. It is going a trouble if you break or bend the inner corner.
Put the strip lash along your lash line to see whether you need to trim it to size. The strip should start where your of eyelashes begin, if you start too close to the inner corner it will irritate your eyes. To know where your strip lashes should end, count 2-4 lashes inwards.
If you need to trimming your lashes, you may to do it from the outside edge and don’t cut through the lashes, always cut them at the band. If you cut the upper side you’ll cut half of other lashes that you want to keep.
You may remember, that lashes can lost the curve when you take them out from the tray. You can roll the lashes around your finger, a makeup brush, pen or cotton bud and leave for 5 minutes to avoid this.
Applied a thin layer of glue (straight from the adhesive applicator) along the lash band, from corner to corner. Wait a few seconds until the glue are sticky before application. If you want super long-lasting stuck, do the ‘double adhesive’.
